KAH COVID-19 POLICY
- WE ARE ASKING CLIENTS TO RESCHEDULE THEIR APPOINTMENTS IF THEY:
- Have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are sick.
- Have recently been outside the country or to a location where the virus is known to be prevalent.
- Have come into contact with someone who has the virus.
- WE ARE SEVERELY RESTRICTING DR. DUGAS’ PHYSICAL PROXIMITY TO CLIENTS.
- Due to his age and extensive medical history, Dr. Dugas will be confined to the technical areas of our facility and will not be available for direct, in-person communication.
- Please keep your phone with you so Dr. Dugas may contact you with any questions or concerns he may have during your pet’s exam.
- WE ARE OFFERING SEVERAL “CURB-SIDE” SERVICES, INCLUDING:
- Curb-side pet pick-up and drop-off for your appointment.
- Curb-side delivery of pet supplies, prescription medications, food, etc.
- Curb-side payment for all goods and services (we will also accept payment over the phone).
- WE ARE IMPLEMENTING “SOCIAL DISTANCING” MEASURES, INCLUDING:
- Maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet away from others.
- Refraining from all physical contact, including handshakes, hugs, and “fist bumps.”
- Keeping social interactions as brief as possible.
- WE ARE FURTHER ENHANCING OUR CLEANING AND SANITATION PROTOCOLS, INCLUDING:
- Disinfecting all surfaces continuously throughout the day.
- Installing extra hand sanitizing stations throughout the hospital.
- Removing all communal bins, treat jars, magazines, pamphlets, business cards, etc.
