Digital Radiology
Radiographs (or x-rays) are the most common imaging method used to diagnose disorders in companion animals. For this reason, we have invested in a state-of-the-art digital imaging system,. Digital images are far more detailed and come with a wide range of manipulation and editing features, thus greatly enhancing our ability to make an accurate diagnosis. And because images are viewable from any computer in the hospital within seconds of being captured, we can diagnose faster and, if necessary, email your pet's images to a board certified radiologist or emergency hospital. Digital imaging technology is also safer for our patients, our staff, and the environment, as it has eliminated our need to handle and dispose of the hazardous chemicals used in traditional film development.
