And because images are viewable from any computer in the hospital within seconds of being captured, we can diagnose faster and, if necessary, email your pet's images to a board certified radiologist or emergency hospital. Digital imaging technology is also safer for our patients, our staff, and the environment, as it has eliminated our need to handle and dispose of the hazardous chemicals used in traditional film development.
